My name is Jim Gates. In 1988 I bought 1.4 Acres of land in rural Washington County. 15 years later, my land was incorporated into King City. Soon afterwards, I was appointed to the Planning Commission. Then I ran for office, won, and served on City Council for 6 years.

I established a vision 35 years ago to fulfill my lifelong dream to subdivide my land and then design and build luxury homes that I can be proud of. Homes that stand out and are the example for others to admire. My first major project as a developer will be my last. I want to leave a legacy to be proud of that would bring the community, friends and family positive memories for decades.

I have lived here in King City for 34 years and I am not going anywhere. I plan to live in one of the homes built at Ponderosa Pines and will be a big part of enjoying the new neighborhood. I love King City and am committed to contributing to the needs of the community.
